Apparently a LSU fan had a little too much fun and ended up taking a short little nap in a Bourbon Street burger joint. After many Alabama fans took turns getting some free photo-op time with the LSU fan, Mr. Downing decided to try and sober him up with a little tea…bagging.
Alright you didn’t get what you wanted for Xmas and you’ve returned what you didn’t want. Not that I did that but I have some gift cards burning a hole in my pocket. What device do I purchase?
I have played with both devices and there are definite pluses and minuses to both.
Ok, so there’s been a lot of talk in the news about SOPA and PIPA. Many people I have personally talked to about it either don’t know what it is or why it’s important. A lot of people just don’t really seem to care what the effects of SOPA or PIPA can be, they figure someone else can worry about it.
WRONG… The passing of these bills will indeed effect each and every person in this country that uses the internet. Many people in this country will chastise China’s government for filtering and restricting the internet for their citizens, but these two bills will allow (mainly the MPAA and other massive corporations) that exact thing. Politicians on the whole know very little about technology and are trusting these large corporations to be ‘honest’ with them, people’s rights be damned.
A bill like these being passed could even effect this web site, you could potentially be blocked from viewing this web site simply because we mentioned a name brand in one of our recipes and the owners of that brand decide they don’t want their name being used on this site. This is a serious threat to the internet as it is right now. These bills pass and the internet will change forever.
If you give a shit at all about your rights to freedom, to be able to go to any web site of your choosing without the permission of large corporations, take 11 minutes out of your life and get to know what rights these corporations are trying to take away from us when it comes to the internet.
